EARLY Years shapes.
I was pleased to create these pieces for a local Nursery school recently. - This Montessori style activity is used in early years to support fine motor skills, colour matching, number & counting, focus and concentration.
These will be child-friendly and will come as plain wood, without colour and sanded super smooth. Round indentations are created to accommodate the coloured pom-poms.
Shapes:
Star
Square
Rectangle
Circle
Triangle
The children are required to use wooden tongs to pick up the pom-poms and place them on the indentations on the shapes.
Kit comprises 5x wooden shapes, bag of pom-poms and 2x wooden tongs.
